The Legend StumpJumpers ATV Club

By-Laws

Article I

Name

 

1. This organization shall be known as the (Legend StumpJumpers) ATV Club Inc.                      

                                              Article II

Objectives

1. The Legend StumpJumpers is organized as a non-profit organzations for the purpose of:

a.Providing social,educational, and recreational activities for its membership.

b.Participating in and supporting civic and evironmental activities for the bettering our community.

c.To promote the sport the pastime of ATV riding in all phases.

d.To enjoy and protect the natural resources and show the up most respect for private lands.

e.To promote interest in and ownership of driving a ATV.

f.To promote,organize and hold outings,meetings,runs,excursions,trail rides,and special events.

 

Article III

Membership and Dues

1.Owners of all makes of ATV's,side by sides,are eligible for membership in the (Legend StumpJumpers) ATV Club.

2.A membership includes Main Member and immediate family.(Spouse and children under 18) Over 18 requires separate membership.

3.All members must conduct themselves in a repectable and orderly fashion whether in or out of club activities.

4.Application for membership must be sponsered by a member in good standing.

5.Applicants for membership must be 18 years of age and must hold a valid driver license.

6.Applicants for membership must attend a Club function prior to consideration of membership or be elected by a club official.

7.Dues for this organazation shall be $25 per membership per year a renewal after 1st year is discounted to $15 per year as long as current member.

8.All personal expenses such as uniforms,decals,clothing,accessories are not reponsibility of club.

9.Members must notify Secretary of any changes to membership (address,phone,etc..)

10.When a member no longer owns a ATV vehicle there membership in organazation shall terminate. The Board of directors may grant temporary exemptions.

Article IV

Charter Members

1.Members who adopt and sign the By-Laws of the club before (Jan 1st,2009) shall be known as charter members of the Legend StumpJumpers ATV Club Inc.

Article V

Business Meetings

1.Meetings of the membership of the Legend StumpJumpers shall be held quarterly at such times and places as designated by the board of directors.

Article VI

Administration of Officers

1.The officers of Legend StumpJumpers ATV club shall consist of a President,V.Pres,Secretary,Treasurer,2 Trail Captains,Event Coordinator and shall be know as the executive committee.

Article VII

Expenditures and Finance

1.All monies received from all sources shall immediately be turned over to the Treasurer to be deposited in checking account of Legend StumpJumpers ATV Inc.

2. No withdrawel from funds shall be made without the approval of the board of directors. Any purchase over $25 from account must be approved by the board of Directors  And it also requires 2 signatures to withdraw funds of clubs account for any purchase.

Article VIII

Committees/Officers/Directors

1.The board of directors shall consist of all adminstrative officers and 8 current members of the club.

2.In case of a vacancy in the officers the board of directors shall elect a successor.

3.Any officer or director of the Legend StumpJumpers club may be recalled to office with a two third majority vote of the entire membership.

4.The membership shall meet and elect officers and directors for each fiscal year at the 1st quarterly club meeting. Voting in person only not by proxy or mail.

Article IX

Events

1.All events shall be subject to the approval of the BOD. Events will be under the direction of a Trail Captains appointed by the BOD.

2.All events must be conducted in a orderly manner and with safety as the prime factor.

3.Anyone determined to be under the influence of alcohol or mind-alterning drugs during a club event is subject to immediate dismissal from the club.

4.Any events held on private property must have the owner permission and will be subject to liability releases.

5.Any member under 21 must be accompanied by or have written permission to drive in any club event. Members must take full responsibility for there guest.

6.All competitive events shall be under the direct authority,supervision and control of the board of directors(BOD).

7.During a club sponsored trail ride,Safety is 1st, The Trail Captain is your leader and most experienced follow his lead at all times.

Article X

Rules and Procedures

1.Unless otherwise specified, The Legend StumpJumpers Rules of order shall govern parliamentary procedure.

2.Members must attend 1 meeting a year and 2 trail rides to retain a membership with club.BOD decides exemptions.

3.Must be 18 years of age with current Driver Lic to become member.

4.All members must repect other members at all times,drinking,fighting,language, and while riding.

 

Article XI

Amendments

1. These By-Laws may be amended by two-thirds majority vote at a regular board meeting, a quorum being present and voting.Any amendment to the By-Laws must be presented to the membership at the regular membership meeting preceding that in which the vote is taken.

ELECTED AND EFFECTIVE AS OF 4TH DAY OF NOVEMBER IN THE YEAR 2008.
